What a gift to be able to read a little more into you and Jamies story! Mariah and I have been cleaning out the guest room in our apartment getting ready for baby Martin, I came across a Southpark magazine where you did a story on me, back in 2016! I thought wow, how times have changed, and how they have not! It's awesome we are still in the same circles, wishing you continued success. I love this platform you're sharing on!
Matt, thanks so much for reading. It's so cool to see our food friends grow across the years. So excited for you and Mariah to be adding to your family, and so glad we're still connected. I love it when folks find old articles that I've written about them. So fun to look back!
Mavin (Jamie’s grandmother) and I worked together. I knew John from CCC. Never forge…. John told me to come get some corn. He would gather it for me… I drove my ‘67 VW from my rental in Lattimore to the farm and he literally filled my car full of corn. Best corn ever! I shucked and shucked. I cut corn off cob and prepared for freezing for what seemed like forever! Ate it all winter. I had tried planting corn in my garden and it didn’t do much. John said, don't worry, I’ll get you corn. I’ll treasure those memories forever.

Thank you for reading, Leah! I admire your work, words, and activism immensely.

Love you.
Charles, respectfully, just because Keia’s “ruminations do nothing” for you does not mean you can make that claim universally.
